It is best to acclimate the Christmas tree for at least 12 hours in a cooler environment, such as the hallway, balcony or shed. You don't need to take the Christmas tree out of its packaging; just leave it in the net.
To enjoy your Christmas tree as long as possible, it is wise to water it. The best way is with a water stand. The trunk of the Nordmann Christmas tree still absorbs a lot of water and therefore stays beautiful longer. If you order a Christmas tree with a wooden cross, it is good to spray the needles with water occasionally. Avoid heat sources, such as a radiator and don't place the Nordmann Christmas tree in too many drafts.
